In Partnership with Envision Atlanta
About the Site: Envision Atlanta is a response to the migration of people to Atlanta from all around the world. There are over 700 people groups represented in the Metro Atlanta area. Many are from unreached people groups from countries the C&MA missionaries can’t go. Our site is located in Clarkston, GA on the East side of Atlanta. Hundreds of refugees from all over the world are placed in Clarkston each year. It is a common place to see people walking down the streets in clothing to their native countries and ethnic food is easy to find. English is rarely spoken by most of the residents of Clarkston. There are many religions represented here: You will find a Buddhist Temple, a Hindu Temple and a Mosque all on the same street. This is why we must advance the Kingdom of Heaven in Clarkston.
Cultural Sensitivity:
Because we are working with people from many different cultures, we ask for modesty. We ask that everyone wear pants when we are working or ministering. You may bring shorts to wear in the living space. We also request no sleeveless shirts and skirts to be mid-calf or longer. We will explain more on this during our March 17th training.
